Skitouring on Mount Ararat in 4 days

1st  Day – Skitouring to first camp on Mt. Ararat
We eat breakfast in hotel and than we load our all equipments to our minibus and we drive to Cevirme village or Eli village at 2200 m. There we stop and the luggages are loaded for the horses or porters. We take our lunch-boxes and we start skitouring to the 1. camp at 2800 m. Our trip takes about 4-5 hours. In the 1. camp we drink tea and eat some sweets and we rest and wait for the dinner. Dinner in the camp. Overnight in the tents.

2nd Day – Skitouring to second camp on Mt. Ararat
We eat breakfast and after it we prepare our luggages and take our tents. The luggages are load for the horses or porters. We take our lunch-boxes and we start skitouring to the 2. camp at 3500 m. Our trekking takes about 4-5 hours. In the 2. camp we drink tea and eat some sweets and we rest and wait for the dinner. Dinner in the camp. Overnight in the tents.

3rd Day – Skitouring to the summit of Mt.Ararat
We wake up at 1.00 and eat something. If weather is okey we start (about 2.00 o’clock) trekking in dark to the summit. We reach the summit of Ararat (5137 m amsl) after 4-7 hours. We back to 4100 meters for little break and we eat something. After that we prepare our luggages and take our tents. The luggages are load for the horses or porters. We go down to the 1. camp and stay for the night. (But if the group in a good shape we can go direct to the  bus and drive to Dogubayazit.)

4th Day – Descent from Mt.Ararat
We eat breakfast in 1. camp. Descent to Cevirme or Eli village. Drive to hotel in Dogubayazit. Overnight in hotel.

• transfer to the foot of Mount Ararat and back
• 3 meals per day during the tours (breakfast, light lunch, warm dinner) with drinks (no-alcohol)
• 4 nights at the hotel

• additional organizations such as tours like: surroundings of Mt. Ararat, to the ruins of Ani, hot springs in Diyadin, Akdamar island, trek on Little Ararat and others
• transfer from the airport in Agri, Kars, Igdir or Van and back
